Emergency Response

ASSET Group serves as a first-responder and provides base camp support services, disaster recovery and emergency construction and repair support nation-wide. ASSET has resources staged throughout the U.S. for immediate response in the event of a national emergency. ASSET has successfully supported FEMA, GSA, local and state agencies throughout many of the Nation’s most public disasters, such as Hurricane Katrina, Ike, Sandy and the 2012 tornadoes throughout Missouri and Oklahoma.

ASSET often ramps up our response teams by accepting volunteers and employing local personnel. We pride ourselves in supporting local communities by first offering opportunities to local laborers and workers.

ASSET’s first responder services include responder support camp services for displaced citizens and first responders. Temporary responder support camps typically include the following set-up, function and/or operation and management:

  • Billeting
  • Administrative areas
  • Security, I.D. & badging
  • Fencing and barricades
  • Establish walkways and roadways
  • Medical unit
  • Restroom facilities
  • Mobile shower facilities
  • Laundry facilities
  • Morale, welfare & recreation facility
  • Hand wash stations
  • Power & HVAC
  • Environmental control
  • Meal service & dining facilities
  • Water, waste water & ablution
  • Disposal
  • Janitorial services
  • Site restoration

As a general contractor, ASSET also performs emergency construction and repair services. For example, during Hurricane Katrina, ASSET was contracted by NAVFAC to perform Bachelor Enlisted Quarter (BEQ) renovation and repairs for extreme water damage that cause mold throughout the housing facilities.
