Design-Build New Construction of School Age Center

ASSET is serving as the prime contractor for the design and construction of a 22,927 square foot School Age Center (SAC) to serve children ages 6 to 10 years with a child-capacity of 195-225. Utilizing the Army Standard Design for a “Large” SAC, the $7.8M facility will house administrative areas, a commercial kitchen and an array of indoor/outdoor activity areas for school age children. To create a safe, productive and enjoyable experience for children, the facility will include a computer lab, homework center, various activities rooms, a large multi-purpose room, and a soccer field and basketball/volleyball court. This facility is designed to achieve LEED® Gold Certification from the USGBC and is scheduled to be completed in 2013.
