Hazardous Materials Survey / Waste Characterization

  • Location: Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana
  • Customer: NAVFAC
  • Project Cost: $5M

ASSET performed full-scale asbestos, lead-based paint and hazardous materials surveys to include mold and hazardous waste characterization, covering 13 states, including Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana (EPA Region 6). ASSET also performed microbial sampling and assessments.

Prior to mobilization of personnel to the site, ASSET prepared a Site-Specific Health & Safety Plan (SSHASP) pursuant to appropriate regulations and guidelines. A Site-Specific Sampling Plan was also developed. ASSET then mobilized Certified Asbestos and Lead-Based Paint Building Inspectors and Industrial Hygienists to the sites for completion of the survey.

Upon completion of the field activities and receipt of the lab analysis, ASSET prepared a detailed report of the survey findings and uses this information to prepare abatement designs.

ASSET has been awarded additional regional work based on excellent performance.
