Replace Hoist and Monorail System, Building 3234

ASSET served as prime contractor to replace the existing monorail track, trolley duct, hoist trains and controls with newly constructed, reinforced structural framing to support a 20-ton capacity hoist system. To work around facility issues, ASSET developed an alternate construction option and successfully reconfigured the mechanical and structural requirements of the project.

A well-maintained and organized on-site material storage helped prevent delays and project down time. All materials were inspected upon delivery and at the time of installation to ensure quality products were being used. Record-keeping and document tracking was utilized to avoid potential problems with warranty items.

ASSET self-performed 84% of the work. The project was completed with zero safety incidents.
